This is a market on the Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine rollout, which was paused after FDA and CDC recommendations on April 13, 2021. This is a market on the total number of J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines doses that will have been administered by May 1, 2021, 8:00 PM EST, the market resolution date. The resolution source for this market will be the CDC’s account of the total number of J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines doses administered, as displayed on the CDC COVID Data Tracker Dashboard in the chart which tracks “U.S. COVID-19 Vaccine Administration by Vaccine Type” (https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#vaccinations). On the resolution date, the CDC Data Tracker will be checked and the bracket which contains the total number of J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccines doses administered will be the bracket this market resolves to. This market will resolve according to the data as available immediately at the time of resolution, and resolution will not be delayed for the purpose of waiting for updated data from a specific date. In the event of ambiguity in terms of the market outcome, this market will be resolved in good faith at the sole discretion of the Markets Integrity Committee (MIC).
