Will a vacancy for the US Supreme Court be announced by September 1, 2021?

Resolution criteria

This is a market on whether a vacancy for the US Supreme Court will be announced by September 1, 2021, 9:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to “Yes” if a vacancy for the US Supreme Court is announced by the resolution date and “No” otherwise. If a Supreme Court Justice publicly announces that they will retire before the resolution date, with or without specifying when they will do so, the market will resolve to "Yes." If a current Supreme Court Justice is no longer in office at any point prior to the resolution date, the market will resolve to “Yes.” The resolution source will be any credible news articles about the US Supreme Court Justices, and credible government sources which would indicate a vacancy (https://www.supremecourt.gov/about/biographies.aspx). In the event of ambiguity in terms of the market outcome, the market will be resolved in good faith at the sole discretion of the Markets Integrity Committee (MIC).
