This is a market on whether the Arizona Secretary of State, whose office is authorized with certifying election results, will announce that the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election results for Maricopa County, in which Joseph Biden received 1,040,774 votes and Donald Trump received 995,665 votes (https://azsos.gov/sites/default/files/2020_General_State_Canvass.pdf) were erroneous and the incorrect winner was declared, by July 20, 2021, 8:00 PM ET, the resolution date. This market will resolve to “Yes” if, by the resolution date, an official announcement is made from the Office of Secretary of State for the State of Arizona (https://azsos.gov/) that the certification of the 2020 U.S. Presidential vote tallies for Maricopa county were erroneous, such that the incorrect winner was declared. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. In the event of ambiguity in terms of the market outcome, the market will be resolved at the sole discretion of the Markets Integrity Committee (MIC).
